"She" gave birth to a female child. There was an atmosphere of sheer joy and happiness in both the families, the family of her parents and the family of her in-laws. Because her child was the only female child in that generation! "She" herself was the only female child of her family, and so all of them were very very happy. The 3 days old baby was much loved and admired by all relatives and familiars. The family members were busy in collecting various things such as cloths and sweators and so on for the baby and making the preparation for her "Namkaran Sanskar." They were discussing for the name to be given to the infant. There was only joy and joy and nothing else. "She" was also enjoying the discussions and the atmosphere of joy and was very proud of her motherhood. She used to stare at the baby for hours and try to find out the similarities between her and her daughter.
One night, everyone in that hospital was asleep. All of a sudden, a noise was heard. Someone was seriously injured. Everyone was awaken and rushed to the direction of noise. The doctor was called urgently, the patient was admitted, treatment started. "She" asked her mother about the noise and the patient. Her mother tried to avoid to tell her about the details. Next morning, her mother went, and her mother-in-law arrieved. "She" asked her mother-in-law about the incident of last night. But she also avoided to speak about it and asked her to take rest. That night she could not sleep. She was thinking about the patient and the noise. Why so much noise? Who is the patient? What is wrong with that patient? Why everyone is trying to avoid to tell me about that incident? She was thinking and thinking. At least, she felt asleep at dawn.
"Meri Bacchi......................" a tragic scream was there, and "She" wake with a start! It was the morning and everyone was rushed to the direction of scream. The sweeper lady came in her room and started her work with the commentry, " Kaise Shaitan hain Insaan ke roop main! Do baras ki bacchi ko bhi barbad kar diya! Kya bigada tha us masoom ne jo aisi bhayanak maut mili! Bhagwan aisi maut kisiko na de! Bacchi ki masumiyat ka bhi us shaitan par asar nahin hua! Kaise saha hoga bechari nanhisi jaan ne ye sab!" Again that tragic scream and everyone was out of the hospital! "She" went to the balcony of the room and saw a crying mother, crazy and almost mad! One man, probably the father of the ill-fated girl, holding a bundle of flesh and blood wrapped in cloth, and many people trying to console both of them.
"She" came in her room. Nobody was there. She sat on her bed, closed her eyes and to her surprise only, flashback started. As a female child, she was much loved by her parents and family members, but some experiences were bad also. Something was wrong somewhere. When "She" was growing, the conditions became worse to worst. Sometimes relatives, sometimes friends, sometimes other people, sometimes even teachers, she experienced the lust in their way of watching towards her. "She" had a disgust with the glance. She was unable to understand the meaning of such evil eye! After marriage, she experienced the same lust and thirst in the glance of her husband. There was little love and much lust in his mind. "She" was the doll who should always look attractive and who should always be ready for his wishes! Her problems, her illness, her tiredness never mattered to him. "She" should never say "No" to fulfil his lust! "She" saw herself in the place of the crazy and mad mother and shivered!
"Doctor................." once again a terrible scream and everyone rushed to her room. The doctor rushed and everyone was silent with a shock! She was sitting on her bed freezed, the baby was in her lap, having a pillow pressed on her face! The doctor removed the pillow, and found the baby cold and breathless. "She" coldly said to the doctor, "Doctor, I saved her!" and failed faint!
